What is Osteopathy?

Osteopathy is a way of detecting and treating damaged parts of the body such as muscles ligaments and joints. When the body is balanced and efficient – just like a well tuned engine – it will function with the minimum of wear and tear, leaving more energy for living.

Patient Protection

In 1993 Osteopathy became the first major complementary health care profession to be given statutory recognition. This means that only practitioners who have been able to show safe and competent practice of osteopathy are allowed to call themselves osteopaths.

Mike Bruce and his associates have satisfied these criteria and are on the Statutory Register of Osteopaths.

"Patients have the same safeguards when visiting an osteopath that they do when consulting a doctor or dentist."
